The Old School

The Old School at Chilbolton (left-hand panel)
Mike Gee
A Grade II listed flint building erected in 1843, this was Chilbolton’s first purpose built school. It was closed in 1931 and the children transferred to the County Primary School at Wherwell. The Men’s Club moved from the old Village Hall (Chilbolton Club House) to the empty school building.
