“How lovely to see the Christmas photo in the magazine! I expect by now you will have received lots of information about it.  But here are some bits I remember.  I have this same photo, it’s from Christmas at the Rectory 2005, hosted by Errol and Sue. This was an annual event and still takes place in December each year, now at Chilbolton Village Hall, for elderly residents of Chilbolton and Wherwell.”

“I remember this lunch being great fun. The kitchen team were Sue Williams, Gail Bailey, Jill Foggarty, Di Wild, myself and maybe one or two others. We served a full turkey lunch with all the trimmings, the turkey was cooked by Michael Keys. Pudding was a choice of Christmas pudding or trifle.”

“Errol and Sue were fantastic hosts and we all had a lot of fun. They also used to host Palm Sunday Curry Lunch at the Rectory which was very popular.”
