A Perfect Summers Evening

Over 160 people enjoyed the Chilbolton Players production of “Chilbolton Cameos” over the weekend of 14-15 July 2006. In brilliant sunshine, in a wonderful setting and with perfect picnic weather they were able to witness events from the village’s history brought to life by a cast of over 30. Players and audience alike became immersed in the story of Hannah Joyce, the Swing riots and the Home Guard to name but three of the seven Cameos portrayed.

Written and directed by Sue Williams and Maggie Duffy, this outdoor production was a new venture for the players but one which it is hoped will be repeated in the future.
