Down End, Drove Road

Down End (centre panel)

Built on a plot of land sold by the owner of Poplar Farm in 1905 for £373, Down End is an imposing Edwardian house in an elevated position on the corner of Drove Road and Coley Lane. The lawns are terraced, a relic of the days when hops grew on the site.
