Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle (right-hand panel)
Mike Gee

This sweet-smelling climbing shrub rambles on the walls of houses and cottages and adorns the gardens of Chilbolton. The fragrant flowers of the honeysuckle are yellow, pink or white. Some of the older cottages in the village were named after flowers that grew in profusion in the garden, a tradition in many rural villages.
