Snowdrops
Mike Gee
The delicate, nodding white flower heads of the snowdrop welcome the spring. Growing wild in woodland, hedgerows and meadows, clumps of snowdrops adorn the village after the winter. Gardeners cultivate the bulbous plants as an early show in the garden – and nowhere is prettier than Stocks Green, lovingly tended by Alan Pratt of The Croft.
