Victorian Privy

Victorian Privy. (left-hand panel)
Mike Gee
The ornamental privy has a tiled roof and Victorian filial crown. It is positioned over the river (natural drainage!) in the grounds of the Coach House. The present owners of the house restored the one-seat privy to its former glory. The gardens of the Coach House are occasionally opened to the public as part of the “National Gardens” scheme.
