Damselfly

Damselfly (right-hand panel)
Mike Gee

The damselfly is similar to the dragonfly. It has two pairs of wings held vertically or pointing backwards when resting. Both the nymph and the adult dragonfly are predatory, the nymph hidden from view in the depths of the water, the damselfly feeding on insects caught on the wing.
