A branch of the Girl Guides movement was established in Chilbolton in 1927. Renamed the 1st Stockbridge Brownies and 1st Stockbridge Guides, the groups used to meet at the Scout and Guide Hut in Stockbridge. The Guides were disbanded in the mid-90’s and the Brownies now meet at Chilbolton Village Hall.
